Welcome to the official product guide for Civilian – Mercedes 250D by FiveM Supply.

The Civilian – Mercedes 250D is a detailed 3D model of the classic Mercedes 250D. This vehicle brings a nostalgic and authentic street presence to any FiveM or roleplay server. Both the Dutch and International versions are supplied as standard, with optional extra assets that differ between versions.

📘 Overview #

This product includes two versions of the vehicle:

  • mercedes250d = version with GTA license plates
  • mercedes250d2 = version with NL license plates

Both versions are included by default.

🛠️ Installation Guide #

Follow the steps below to install the Civilian – Mercedes 250D on your FiveM server.

1. Log in to your FiveM Supply account #

Log in to your FiveM Supply account and go to the downloads page:

My account

2. Download the product #

Download the file named:

Civilian | Mercedes 250D

3. Extract the ZIP file #

Unzip the downloaded file:

mercedes250d.zip

4. Upload the resource to your server #

Add the main folder mercedes250d to your server.

You can place it in your main resources folder or inside a custom category folder such as [vehicles].

Example locations:

resources/mercedes250d

or

resources/[vehicles]/mercedes250d

5. Start the vehicle in your server config #

Add the resource to your server.cfg.

Example:

ensure mercedes250d

If you placed the resource inside a category folder, make sure that folder is started correctly on your server.

Example:

ensure [vehicles]

🚨 Vehicle Extras #

The Civilian – Mercedes 250D includes several extras that can be enabled or disabled in-game or through your preferred vehicle menu system.

🔧 Using Only One Version In-Game #

By default, both the GTA plate and NL plate versions are included. If you only want to use one version in-game, you can remove the files of the other version from the stream folder.

Only use the GTA plate version #

Remove the following files from:

mercedes250d/stream

mercedes250d2.yft
mercedes250d2_hi.yft
mercedes250d2.ytd

Only use the NL plate version #

Remove the following files from:

mercedes250d/stream

mercedes250d.yft
mercedes250d_hi.yft
mercedes250d.ytd

Important: We do not recommend editing the .meta files unless you know exactly what you are doing.

⚠️ Important Notes #

  • Both versions are included by default.
  • mercedes250d is the GTA plate version.
  • mercedes250d2 is the NL plate version.
  • If you rename the folder, you must also update the resource name in your server.cfg.
  • Some extras may depend on how your vehicle menu or trainer handles vehicle extras.
  • Always restart your server after installing a new vehicle resource.
  • Be careful when removing files and always keep a backup of the original resource.

🧯 Troubleshooting #

The vehicle does not appear in-game #

Make sure that:

  • the mercedes250d folder was uploaded correctly
  • the resource is added to your server.cfg
  • the server has been restarted
  • the resource name matches the actual folder name

The NL or GTA version does not appear #

Make sure that:

  • you did not accidentally remove the wrong files from the stream folder
  • the correct .yft, _hi.yft, and .ytd files are still present
  • the resource was restarted after making changes

The extras do not work #

Make sure that:

  • your menu supports vehicle extras
  • the vehicle spawned correctly
  • no other edited version of the vehicle is conflicting with the resource

The vehicle resource does not start #

Make sure that:

  • the ZIP file was extracted correctly
  • the main mercedes250d folder was uploaded, not the ZIP file itself
  • the folder structure is correct inside your server resources directory
