Welcome to the official product guide for Marechaussee – BF Serata [ELS] by FiveM Supply.

The BF Serata is a lore-friendly vehicle built for the Dutch Marechaussee. Due to unclear TOS regulations, we also supply a version with the text Defense on the hood and tailgate.

This product is available in multiple variations, allowing you to choose between Marechaussee or Defensie/Defense text, as well as NL or GTA license plate versions.

🛠️ Installation Guide #

Follow the steps below to install the Marechaussee – BF Serata [ELS] on your FiveM server.

1. Log in to your CFX Portal #

Log in to your CFX Portal here: https://portal.cfx.re/.

2. Go to Granted Assets #

Open the Granted Assets page: https://portal.cfx.re/assets/granted-assets/.

3. Download the preferred version #

Download one of the following files, depending on which version you want to use:

  • Marechaussee | BF Serata [NL] [ELS]
  • Defensie | BF Serata [NL] [ELS]
  • Marechaussee | BF Serata [GTA] [ELS]
  • Defensie | BF Serata [GTA] [ELS]

4. Extract the ZIP file #

Unzip the downloaded file.

Depending on the version you choose, this will be one of the following:

  • kmarserata.pack.zip
  • kmarserata2.pack.zip
  • defserata.pack.zip
  • defserata2.pack.zip

5. Upload the resource to your server #

Add the main folder of the selected version to your server.

You can place it in your main resources folder or inside a custom category folder such as [vehicles].

Example locations:

resources/kmarserata

resources/defserata

resources/kmarserata2

resources/defserata2

or

resources/[vehicles]/kmarserata

resources/[vehicles]/defserata

resources/[vehicles]/kmarserata2

resources/[vehicles]/defserata2

6. Start the vehicle in your server config #

Add the selected resource to your server.cfg.

Examples:

ensure kmarserata

ensure defserata

ensure kmarserata2

ensure defserata2

If you placed the resource inside a category folder, make sure that folder is started correctly on your server.

Example:

ensure [vehicles]

Important: For escrowed products such as this one, you must perform a full server restart when starting the vehicle for the first time.

🚨 Vehicle Extras #

The Marechaussee – BF Serata [ELS] includes several extras that can be enabled or disabled in-game or through your preferred vehicle menu system.

⚠️ Important Notes #

  • Make sure the resource name matches the version you uploaded.
  • Use kmarserata or kmarserata2 for the Marechaussee versions.
  • Use defserata or defserata2 for the Defensie versions.
  • If you rename the folder, you must also update the resource name in your server.cfg.
  • Some extras may depend on how your vehicle menu or trainer handles vehicle extras.
  • For escrowed assets, a full server restart is required the first time you start the resource.

🧯 Troubleshooting #

The vehicle does not appear in-game #

Make sure that:

  • the correct folder was uploaded
  • the resource is added to your server.cfg
  • the server has been fully restarted
  • the resource name matches the actual folder name
  • you started the correct version

The extras do not work #

Make sure that:

  • your menu supports vehicle extras
  • the vehicle spawned correctly
  • no other edited version of the vehicle is conflicting with the resource

The vehicle resource does not start #

Make sure that:

  • the ZIP file was extracted correctly
  • the main folder was uploaded, not the ZIP file itself
  • the folder structure is correct inside your server resources directory
  • the correct resource name is used in server.cfg
  • you performed a full server restart for the first startup
